If you are one of those people who sleeps with one or more limbs hanging over the edge of the bed.......

It's an old idea. The Morrison Shelter was used during the WWII London Blitz to serve much the same function. http://ww2today.com/27th-march-1941-...-is-introduced

Hmm. Get marketing in on this. Needs a catchy name.. Temblor tomb? The pre-coffinator? Corpse cache?

Isn't American marketing amazing? Remember all those expensive fallout shelters? I have to believe kevlar vests would be a better marketing ploy!

Heavens No... I'm claustrophobic I'd rather sleep in a pup tent outside.

I would rather have the one with the high lid on it have a wall come down instead of it making a small 'coffin'.... that way I actually have a ROOM to live in for a bit of time....

OK. Those beds sort of freaked me out. I would need something a bit larger. I think I'll stay in Fl. where I have some warning of the hurricanes coming.

Cheers!

Well, I guess it's better than being crushed. Still, like Texas Proud I'd rather have one with some room in it.
