Elon Musk and selling Tesla cars

Don't have all the facts but looks like Elon is being prevented from selling his Tesla car in a couple of states because he isn't gong through franchised dealers.

I think they are selling Elon a bit short by thinking he won't find a workaround.

FIFY

Tesla should not be prevented from using whatever sales approach they want IMO, so I hope he does find a way around the "ban." IIRC, the Oakbrook Terrace (Chicago) Tesla store is closed on Sundays, while all the other stores are open, for a similar BS reason.

Wonder why no one told Dell they couldn't sell direct when they turned the PC sales model upside down years ago...

All Illinois car dealers are closed on Sunday, not just Tesla.
