Ethical Companies

I have not looked at the scoring methodology, but thought I'd share this. I was surprised to see a few on here like ebay. The article lists the world's most ethical companies.

I happen to work for one MegaCorp on the list. I do think we have a good ethical culture, although certainly we're not perfect. I do my little piece, but I'm merely one cog in a very big machine. I'm proud of where I work, how we conduct business, how we treat our customers, and so on.

Wow, my old employer is on there, too. I never say them screw any customers, but it was every man (and woman) for themselves in the management ranks.

I wonder how much the companies had to pay to be listed.

"Most ethical" on this list seems to be about the same distinction as "most senior" among Navy ensigns...

Of course, people won't agree on what is the "most ethical" any more than they'd all agree on the criteria for "socially responsible investing"...
