Expanding your interests - Websites

Every once in a while, I run across websites that are "WOW", and I want to share them with everyone I know.

For a starter... "Archive". While many already have this as a favorite, I am just finishing up my first four or five hours of skipping through the endless subjects and sources. ( A hint: after scrolling down a page to the 'seeming' bottom... click on "more")

https://archive.org/

A similar, but different website offer is this:

The best free cultural & educational media on the web - Open Culture

While these will take up a few lifetimes just to skim the surface they offer a chance to explore new horizons.

Do you have one or two... (not a long list) websites that you would recommend others ?

Edited to ad... the Archive contains 15 petabytes of information...
1 Petabyte equals 1000 Terrabytes...
1 Terrabyte equals 1000 Gigbytes

2.1 million videos in the video category

Thanks for the link to Open Culture - I'd heard of it but never checked it out.

OpenCulture seems to be a list of links, which I guess is useful. I'll have to poke around and see what it's about.

I've been using the Archive for downloading live music for years. It's been a great way to discover new music. I haven't really used it for any of the other options. I'll check it out.

Edit: I forgot to put my recent favorite website in here. Getting old, I guess. I was a bio major and still love nature stuff. I've been spending some time off and on at http://www.arkinspace.com. It's full of fun, interesting, and sometimes disturbing videos and stories about animal life.

Just about everything on RSA-Animate. They take lectures, from around the world, that would otherwise be "boring", and they bring them to life with simple hand-drawn animations. I consider RSA on the same level as TED talks.

A typical example from the series is https://www.thersa.org/discover/vide...of-capitalism/

The complete set is here...... https://www.thersa.org/discover/videos/rsa-animate/?p=1

And all of their video content can be found on their YouTube channel here......... https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvh...zcNCiSbeXEjhLg
