Finally!....Digging out from the "Gustav" hole........

Well, out of commission for a week! Gustav did a number on this area.
Personally my home came through with just a little damage that I can repair myself. My yard was totally trashed with limbs, sticks and leaves.
I'm not complaining though because others in close proximity had major damage to their homes. The damage was usually caused by falling oak trees.

By comparison, a week without electricity and a week of yard work was all that I had to deal with and wasn't all that bad.

I finally took a peak at my portfolio and I think Gustav must have hit Wall Street with full force.

Anyway, now I have a week of threads to go through to get caught up.

I hope other "Gustav" victims are also crawling out of their holes.

Glad to be back to some sense of normalcy. (with one eye on Ike!)

I actually got a week off from w**k with pay so there was at least one benefit. I worked harder in my yard and neighboring yards than I normally do so I was definitely busy. Wouldn't want to go through it again any time soon though.
