FIVE DAYS TO GO

Next Tuesday is my DH retirement. The countdown is finally here! Projects are lined up, books stacked up to be read, vacation planned, grandchildren are coming for the holiday,
life is good !!! I am waiting for DH to adjust and then I will decide if I want to throw in the towel too.

Congratulations. A party is in order? Enjoy his ER, and make it his/hers soon.

Re: FIVE DAYS TO GO

You are so right -- upside: dinner ready, no more work shirts to iron *hurray* -
yard work done before the weekend, long-term house projects will get started, can go to bed later since DH always up earlier...
Downside: I am still working for a short while.

Re: FIVE DAYS TO GO

Congrats to your DH Ginger. Make sure you have a list of things for him to do... I'm still working and dh isn't, he has his daily list. He's also taken over the food shopping, pharmacy runs and any trips to the bank.

Congratulations to your DH Ginger.

Any bets on how long Ginger lasts after seeing how much DH LOVES having free time?
