Forbes Thought of the Day

Forbes Thought Of The Day

“ The more I work, the more I want to work. ”
— Joan Miro

As I sit here at w*rk on a crappy Monday (is it Friday yet?!) - I can say I do not share Ms. Miro's sentiments on w*rk.

Nice to know there are folks on this board who share the wonderfulness of early retirement! Off to check my Vanguard retirement balance...

I am also still working and agree with OP, I do not share Joan Miro's sentiments on work!

The advice we're giving you is invaluable, that's why it's free

Couldn't agree more about the NOT part.

The more I work the more I check, recheck, check again, the FIREcalc numbers. . .to the point of obsession really.

There is not a day that has passed that I have not thought about ER. Exactly OMY full-time. Then, 6 months PT and I am free!!!!!!!

Well, it is a thought, just not a good one.
