Forum statistics

Looking at the Forum statistics, I thought it was very interesting that after eliminating the Introduce yourself Here topic, the most read posts concerned how much money do need or can you "safely" spend in ER:

Retire on 3k per month thoughts... 9154
Spending in early retirement 8651
How Much is Needed To Retire? (A Twist) 8557
$50 a day? No way! 8155
SWR of 6.21% for 26 years 7969
Yahoo "Finance Quiz" 7652
33%? That's my story. 6724
How will retiring early affect my Social Security 6671
24K Retirement "budgets" 6614

The lack of overlap with the most replied to posts was also interesting.

No more lawyer stuff, no more political stuff, so no more CYA

Re: Forum statistics

The lack of overlap is probably because hot button topics get the most posting, yet scare away a lot of members who don't want to get bogged down in politics etc., where as these threads get to the heart of why we are here, so everybody sits down, shuts up, and gets their pencils out!
