Funniest Movies

Wow, a lot of my favorites mentioned that I'd forgotten about. And I didn't know about Mr. Bean's Holiday!

Mr. Mom reminded me of another favorite: Multiplicity

I truly hated Blazing Saddles when it first came out--just thought it was crude and stupid; although I adored Mel Brooks and all his other movies, I just didn't get it. Now when I watch it I just laugh from start to finish.
I'll admit that it has grown on me over the years.

Has anyone noticed the changing censorship of Blazing Saddles over the years? When it first started airing on television the use of the so-called dreaded "N word" was cut. Most recently I have noticed that it is back in, but all the audible gas sounds were cut from the campfire fart-a-thon to the point that it made no sense. Weird. I wonder if that represents some shift in what's perceived as being acceptable, or if it was just a quirk of whoever is doing the editing.

I adore the Princess Bride, Kronk--thanks for reminding me.

Incontheivable that I forgot it!

I also love Sixteen Candles but that might be a little too girly for this board.

Second "Borat" I can't remember when I laughed out loud so much.

Also,

Men in Black
Ghostbusters

Dumb and Dumber

Dumb and Dumber.
Not a big fan of Jim Carrey, but just thinking of the toilet scene makes me start laughing out loud.
Still remember my father rolling off the couch, and laughing his ass off.
