I was curious about that too. I assume/hope that they drain fluids before it goes through the crusher.

I had never heard the terms "shelter belt" or "flicker tail" but knew all the others, despite never living in ND.
Guess it comes from having friends in Minnesota and occasional TDY to Fargo and Minot.
