GO CAVS! Season opener...

Well, the days of 40 and 50 home-game winning streaks are gone. The days of showing up just to show up and watch my CAVS whollup another team are gone. NEVER wondering IF we are going to win a home-game is a feeling I may never experience first-hand again...

But, we Clevelanders welcome the opportunity to root for a TEAM that must play like a TEAM if they want to win.

And what a better way to start it than after watching that little dose of "Chicken Soup for The Clevelander's Soul" last night on TNT. Le-Douchebag and company looked so bad in that first half it made me LOL- literally. Unfortunately, I dont suspect many more games like that.

Anyhow...GO CAVS!!!!!!!

I was thrilled that the CAVS won! They played an excellent game and even if they'd lost, I would not have been too disappointed; after all, they were playing the eastern champs! But the game was great and everyone stepped up to the plate. I love the new coach, too. I hope LeBron enjoyed the game, the bastard! And, I watched Boston and Miami play; the Heat looked like crap. LeBron got his points, but they still lost, which did my heart good. Can you tell I'm holding a grudge against LeBron? LOL

My question about the Heat is: Can the team survive what will inevitably turn into a clash of huge egos? I mean, I think back to Shaq and Kobe, for example. At some point there will be a clash of egos, battles over who is the "go to guy," who should be getting the ball more.

I agree, ziggy29! Duane's ego is huge and so is Lebron's; I don't think Bosch is too bad yet. I think LeBron will be fed up fairly quickly if things don't go well. The pressure on those three must be tremendous; it may be hard to live up to the hype!

as much as i HOPE they cant handle it...I think they will be fine...unfortunately. If those 3 cant win some titles... wow.

What I will say though is they better work on the other 8 guys on that roster....because 3 guys cant beat a team of 5. The other 2 on the court when those 3 are there...as well as the bench...better step it up. With all that salary wasted on 3 guys...the rest of the lineup is mediocre at best.

CAVS are on tonight...taking on the Kings...very excited about this season...in a wierd way

We'll certainly be watching the CAVS tonight, but we'll also be watching Miami and Orlando. DH read a tweet by Dwight Howard that said something like: Miami, Miami, Miami--I'm so sick to hearing about Miami and I can't wait until we play them and beat their ass!! Those overpriced egos.... I thought that comment was hilarious!! You go Dwight!
