I did not know that he was still doing his act. I was funny in the 70's. Has he updated it or is it the same old s**t?

The guy is a real word genius. Does amazing things with the language. He'll do a routine on Leno now and then.

God, that is funny! You're humor is just as good but doesn't cost $75/seat.

Re: going to see george carlin tonight

A long, long time ago (in a land far away…) I saw George Carlin perform in Reno. DW and I were on a company incentive trip, the reward given (in lieu of bonuses) for meeting sales goals for the year, or in my case, meeting profit goals for my area of responsibility. I’m certain our stuffy and very straight-laced CEO didn’t understand what he was getting into as we sat across the table from he and his wife as Carlin ended his show with his follow on to “Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television”: hundreds of words and phrases you can’t say on television. I almost blew a gasket trying not to laugh (at both Carlin and the very pained expression on the CEO’s face) and finally gave up and laughed so hard tears rolled down my cheeks. Kept my job, tho... 8)
