I am setting up a computer in my boy's room. I have a 17 inch Viewsonic flat panel hooked up to it for now. I would like to get a bigger monitor, maybe 19 or 21 inches, it would make their games easier to play.

Other than checking Craigslist, are there any good cheap ones out there? i don't want to sepnd $300-$400 for a monitor......:p

Thanks........

22 Inch Samsung. Purchased one about a year ago. Seems to work fine, very fast. Here is a link to the Samsung Site. I would not purchase it there. Google the model number and you should be able to find better pricing (fatwallet).

Flat screens are almost a commodity now. 19" ones are going for $150 to 200 and almost any of them would satisfy anyone but a real video aficionado. Prices go up quickly when you get into 20" to 22" models. Most of these are really not that much bigger, but rather widescreen.

Good sources are Fry's, Newegg, Costco, Staples, Office Depot. All of these sources run specials almost every week.
