Google FI

Looks like Google wants to shake up the wireless business. They just announced their offering, Google FI, and it looks like a great option. Here's one article Project Fi: all the news on Google's plan to remake the wireless industry | The Verge. This is still in rollout, but at first glance it looks like a very good option compared with Verizon and AT&T.

The biggest drawback for me:
Most importantly, Project Fi currently supports just one phone: the Nexus 6.

Yes it's annoying they don't support even their Nexus 5 phone which has both CDMA and GSM.

$650 for unsubsidized Nexus 6 at the g-store.

This is not on my short list, but in a year or two, who knows?

I wonder if they might pull a "Google Glass" sudden unexplained departure down the road?
