Not from my dating days, a bit later in life. My wife was facing serious cancer surgery and I would sing this corny love song, I would not let her stop me:

And I would hold her for literally hold her for hours every day. When we came to visit her in the hospital our younger son and I came into the room playing the song on a boom box.

Yakers, a very kind, loving gesture. I bet it really helped her.

Yeah, there is nothing like being back in college at this age, learning APA citation formatting, no less! Don't want to get in trouble with my peeps!

Thanks again for the useful info.

And not exactly on topic but...have you seen this awesome video--not a love song, but so very cool--I want to be this girl! My Hoop Dance inspiration!

Would you believe it is in Britain? The windmill fools you!
It was a competition put on by the band--the hoopstress is an Australian performer. It really is an awesome song and cool hoop performance. I love when she's hooping past the cows!

Great video! Absolutely a great love song! I certainly support attractive women kissing one another.

My son and DIL were over recently and i mentioned how many very good looking young women I have seen necking in the parks and walking arm in arm. College Girls said DIL- its part of a liberal arts education.

One of our pole dancing routines is to that "I Kissed a Girl" song. I liked it right up until I had to listen to it a million times in practice! Still like Katie Perry, though.

I think the urban dictionary term is "trysexual" Ha.

Notmuch, never mix pole dancing with alcohol. But it is pretty funny. I also like the ones where the pole falls down as the girl is doing some spinning trick. Hilarious!

I find these hard to look at. A woman is trying to entertain, something goes awry and she is either hurt in her body or in her pride.

BTW, I loved the sexy way she was going before she fell.

Ha

Paul Anka performed this when he was only 16. I just learned he was Canadian, but of Lebanese origin. He became a US citizen in 1990.
