I miss him too! What a tragedy and loss for mankind that he was murdered. Just imagine the songs he would have written and sung in recent years, had this not happened.

5/17/2018: Retired a second time, this time from my volunteer Admin duties. After 10 years of being on the team, and 40,000+ posts, the time just seemed right. It has been such fun to work with all of our Mods and Admins and I plan to stick around as a regular member.

Many of the posters here lived through the assassinations of the JFK, RFK and MLK, which were senseless of course, but at least you can somehow see that leaders and activists can develop (twisted) enemies.

The murder of John Lennon just seemed to take 'senseless' to a different level. Why murder a musician?
