Happy Guy Fawkes night

Remember, remember the Fifth of November,
The Gunpowder Treason and Plot,
I know of no reason
Why the Gunpowder Treason
Should ever be forgot.
Guy Fawkes, Guy Fawkes, 'twas his intent
To blow up the King and Parli'ment.
Three-score barrels of powder below
To prove old England's overthrow;
By God's providence [or By God's mercy] he was catch'd
With a dark lantern and burning match.
Hulloa boys, Hulloa boys, let the bells ring.
Hulloa boys, hulloa boys, God save the King!

In the late 60's in college, I had a bed spring & mattress in my room but couldn't afford a frame. The college library was selling old books for a nickle or a dime, and I bought about 100 books by Balzac and Ainsworth, and used them for a bed frame. Fast forward to 1984, recovering from back surgery, and wanted to read something very boring that would help the pain pills put me to sleep. So I started reading Balzac (very boring), but when I started reading Ainsworth's story about Guy Fawkes I found it very exciting. So Happy Guy Fawkes Day to everyone and a toast to the guy that got me through a very painful time.
