Ah, yes. As a local radio talk show host calls it, "amateur night."

I'm wearing green underwear if that counts. And nobody even asked!

In the true spirit of cheapskateness, I will wait a few days and then go stock up on some nice corned beef that didn't sell by today. It freezes very well.

Nice puppy! Love the antenna.

Erin Go Braughless

This afternoon I was sitting in the coffee shop at the Seattle Art Museum. Across the street is the Lusty Lady, a Seattle landmark strip club. In honor of Saint Pat's they have two special features, "The Lust of the Irish", and "Erin Go Braughless"

Some older tourists sitting nearby were upset that a strip place was right across from the museum.

I got an early start on corned beef and have been eating it all week. I bought another one today because they are so good and I can have lunch off one all week long. I skip the boiled cabbbage though, and go for fresh saurkraut. I had never eaten that boiled saurkraut and potatoes and carrots until I lived for a while in New England, and I really never developed the taste for it.

ha

That corned beef was really tasty last night -- seemed better than in the past.

I probably ate too much -- I figure it's pretty unhealthy stuff, right?

St. Pat's at Sarah's

We've sobered up enough to be able to type again....there were around 90 people for our big St. Pat's Wearing o' the Green party, weather was perfect and the band was ROCKING! The only one with me in it is the first one--just my rear in my fine shimmery green pants. I've still got folks sending me pictures, those brave souls able to hold an Irish car bomb in one hand and a camera in the other. I sent the trombone player to bed at 4am. It was an epic party and well worth the trouble to build the stage and dance floor!

Heh heh heh--I knew you'd like that one, Al!
And Michael is a fine trombone player! He is actually a piano/keyboard player but just loves to bring out that trombone for a party.
