Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

As I reflect on things I'm grateful for, the great people on this forum who willingly share their advice and opinions come to mind. I joined in 2016 prior to my planned ER. You've already helped me with so many things - getting ready to ER, handling my resignation, financial insights, and everything from travel tips to how to clean stainless steel to great walking sandal options. Wow! It's great to have this community to interact with. Wishing you all a happy Thanksgiving and a joyful holiday season!

Given that I am in year one of retirement, I do a lot of reflecting on my journey here.
I'll be truly giving thanks while outside in the cool weather smoking a nice goose. A fair portion of said thanks will be to the helpful, learned, and generous folks that share their time and knowledge here.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!!!

2 complete years in retirement - and loving it!
saw the below from Beth Moore:
If love can still wound you, give thanks - your heart’s not cold.
If a child can still delight you, give thanks - you’ve not grown old.
If traffic can still vex you, give thanks - you’re not shut in.
If injustice can still move you, give thanks - you’re not shut down.

I started lurking 6 years ago. I am now perhaps two years from FI. The advice on this forum played no small part in that.
I am thankful for the wisdom imparted through these boards. I am thankful DW grows more lovely every day. I am thankful my mental health has improved so much over the past 30 months.

Retired for nine years and no question that this forum made that happen with opening up our minds to ER in the most entertaining way! Happy Thanksgiving, FIRE pilgrims!

A very impressive group indeed!
I'm grateful for, among many other things, the forbearance with which you have put up with me all this time.

Last year on this day, I walked out of work for the last time. It has been a terrific year. So thankful for finding this forum a few years ago and very grateful for all of the knowledge and sharing from everyone here.
Happy Thanksgiving and may you all have a wonderful day.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Well, at least to our USA members who celebrate Thanksgiving today.
