Help From Verizon Wireless
DH is a Red Cross volunteer and headed down to LA Saturday morning. He has been positioned in Baton Rouge but is now being sent to New Orleans. He's assuming he is going to be making lots of cell phone calls (most other folks are AT&T) and since we are two weeks into our contract month, he is worried about busting our monthly minutes (500). I contacted Verizon Wireless and the rep added 150 bonus minutes to the month to help out. They also did the same thing during our severe local floods a year ago. If he starts getting close to the limit, I'll call again.
