Here we go again?

So, with the 2008 election season already upon us and 9/11 well behind us, have we learned anything in between?

Compounding: Never forget! Never not remember!

Yes that stock marktes will go up and down and that our taxes will be lowered again. Amazing how their always lowering my taxes but they keep going up.

I'm putting cotton in my ears for the next year.

Bread and circuses, baby. That's all the latter day Roman populace cares about.

The post 9/11 attitude has lasted too long, and the 2008 election campaigning has started too early.

Seriously, couldn't there be some law against campaigning more than one year ahead of the election? It would save the candidates money, even the playing field, and clean up the national news.
