I'm going to my old company's Christmas party next week. I've been working on a short term project for them so I won't be out of place. I would go anyway as they are just informal parties not really sponsored by the company but put together by a few employees. Plus my buddy's band will be playing and they are always enjoyable.

We went to our company Christmas party last night. I've been to 27 of them and they're all the same - appetizers, dinner, drinks, DJ, watches to those having a 10 year anniversary, and a speech from the boss. I don't really enjoy going - I'd rather have a bowling outing or something new and more fun.
