Actually, Rosh Hashanah begins Wednesday at sundown. But, close enough. (And, it really is the thought that counts).

My favorite day is April Fools.....but no decorations exist for that one yet!

Seriously, my family never really did get into any holidays/traditions.....we did a little bit of everything (Indian/American) to appease I don't even know who!
We had started to go out for everyone's birthday, but my father's holier than thou attitude and my mother's hatred for my father kind of trampled that bit.

In my home, everyday is christmas, valentine's day, and birthday all rolled up into one. My kittens are spoiled rotten and I live on my own terms.....I have eaten cake for breakfast and indulged in expensive presents/spa days just for the fun of it.

I think if I were to have my own family (husband and kids), I would make everyday a "special day" worthy of a celebration.

One could just put up a picture of their least favorite political figure as an April Fools decoration.
