Re: How Many Grandchildren?

4 grandkids, all too far away.

A major driver for me to FIRE is to see more of them. Missouri and Wisconsin are a bit far from here to just drop in.

DW and I have 2, ages 2 1/2 and 2 months.

They live in Fla. and we are moving down next month to retire and be with them at long last. We will live about 1/2 hour away, just right we hope.

We're 25 mins from our three, 5 - 4 - 1, and that distance seems to work very well!

Very nice section of the east coast -- MIL lives in Vero and enjoys it. Great time to be buying a house.

Re: How Many Grandchildren?

Five Grandkids - 1 is 11yo, 1 is 4, 2 are 3 and the newest is 2 weeks old.

The youngest three are girls - DWs was afraid she'd never get to buy those frilly dresses and doll toys.

3 in Louisville - 2 are in Detroit - ER grandpa-ing takes a bit of regular travel
