My other thread got me thinking....how many miles on these cars we all have? Some already posted, but post it in the following easy to decipher format if you can....

year : mileage

(sold my old 92 toyota truck with 252,000 a few months ago -- sort of hated to let it go but didn't see a need for two and I got $5,000 for it)

That's a pretty big assumption! But understandable in a rich country with the popular wisdom that one cannot live without private wheels.

Don't know the stats on the public streetcars from the '40s or historic monuments (over 100 years old) that I so enjoy riding.

Lots of Miles

1997 Hyundai Accent 172,000 miles (mine, drive it 3 to 4 days a week)
2000 Hyundai Accent 194,000 miles (got rid of it when the clutch went)
2008 Hyundai Elantra 27,000 miles (wife, drives it everyday)

Very reliable cars. Mostly just change the oil.
