While all the above liquors are fine, you gotta bring along some bourbon. Nothing better than a cold, cold Maker's and Ginger ale while sitting on a deck looking out at the ocean. Maker's is a good bourbon that really isn't that expensive when you compare it to Booker's, Baker's, etc.

(sigh)

I'm sorry sir, but we're going to have to revoke your Man License. You know the rules...nothing sticky, green, thick, or with fruit/umbrellas.

Come on...hand it over...we dont want any trouble here...

Thats fine, as long as theres no booze involved!

The Man Rules are very explicit in this area.

As yummy as it might be, the Man Rules prohibit the substances in such a combination.

Thefed.. just personal taste, but your original list sounds a little sickly sweet to me. Especially for the beach, my favorite summer drinks are G&Ts and Seabreezes. A gimlet or CapeCodder is also nice. Vodka/tonic.. even a TomCollins with the sour mix/gin would not be bad. Mojitos good but you need the supply of fresh mint.

That said, I am planning some margaritas for a BBQ tomorrow. $20.76 for a 700ml of Cuervo reposado (sorry - the only tequila in the store). Cointreau. Lime juice. Ice. Salt.
