How old are your cars?

2005 Kia, Rio, purchased Jun 2007

Replaced 1989 Ford Festiva (could not find parts)

2002 Harley Davidson Softail Springer
2003 Honda Accord Sedan
2006 Acura RSX

Currently: '07 Camry bought new, already has 50k miles!
'98 Ford F-150 , bought used @ 107 miles, now has 157000.

When we traded the wife's '90 Honda Accord in on the Camry, it had 200k miles and was 16 years old. Bought new in '90.

I'm considering getting rid of the truck & buying a new Toyota something.

A '97 Nissan Altima with 99K miles that just keeps on going.

An '06 Prius with only 25K miles that our teen driver will run hard for another 630 days until she goes to a Mainland college. Then we'll sell the Altima and keep the Prius.

We got rid of our '94 Ford Taurus wagon at ~112K miles, but it's still on the roads. We've even seen our '90 Honda Civic sedan recently...

1999 Ford F250 Powerstroke - 124,000 miles
Bought it gently used in 2001 w/ 33,000 miles

Hope to get another 4 or 5 years out of it

Mother is about to give me her Buick Rendevous (2000)
I think she is about to buy a Prius....

1 mazda miata, 1997, 100K miles. It has never required a single repair beyond regular maintenance.
1 VW Jetta, 2001, 100K miles. Super expensive to maintain for what it is. I will not buy another VW, ever. I used to love the brand but they lost their way.

Even though the miata is older, we might get rid of the VW first.

9 year old Camry Solara that I will drive until it stops running . It has been the best car I ever owned .

I have a 13,14,15 and 30 year old vehicle.

Just wondering.

Wife has a 4 yr old

Have a 1 and 2 year old vehicles.

Had a Geo Prizm for 17 years before I got these. Too much rust / body work needed to pass Pennsylvania state inspection. I hope to run these two into the ground (or die 1st). In the mean time, it is nice to not have to do repairs in the snow (2 inches of snow yesterday).

9 yrs and 6 yrs.

I would love to have only one car. We rarely need both at the same time. But I need one for hauling firewood, and one that gets good gas mileage.

The worst is that I put oil in the truck, and it mostly just sits there, and then in six months, I take the oil out and replace it.

1991 Ford Explorer, 150,000 miles, bought 4 years ago
2006 Chevy Malibu, 55,000 miles, bought a month ago

"The worst is that I put oil in the truck, and it mostly just sits there, and then in six months, I take the oil out and replace it." Trombone AlI have two at 3: 2005 Honda Accord 10K miles (DW), 2005 Nissan Quest 30K milesand 0ne at 31: 1977 Jeep Cherokee 29KAl, I do not change the oil always in the Jeep but when I do it goes with other oil into my daughters car which leaks oil on a regular basis. It is so bad, she can't park in the drive when she visits. I think it is the valve covers and cover over dist. 93 Lumina junker

14 yr-old H1
11 yr old Ford Explorer

1990 Toyota Camry, 138,000 miles, the body looks horrible, major rust in the wheel wells, but we keep it mechanically running well. Just put new tires and new brakes on it in May. The left rear quarter panel has collision damage in the shape of a 2000 Honda Civic front end from an accident in Feb 2007, but the gas inlet wasn't damaged and the trunk still opens. My son in college drives this and needs it for at least one more year. We bought this in 1990, "used" from a dealer who had it in his rental fleet. It had 5000 miles on it, so it was "new" for us!

2001 Toyota Corolla, 91,000 miles. We bought this last year. PAID OFF 3 weeks ago!

2003 Toyota Camry, 53,000 miles. We bought this in 2005. PAID OFF 3 months ago.
