We have two vehicles, both purchased new. One is now six years old, the other is three years old.

These replaced vehicles that were 17 and 16 years old at the time, which we also purchased new.

FWIW, all of our vehicles are/were American brands.

11 (small American, bought used) and 4 (Japanese SUV, bought new). DH and I take turns driving whichever is closest to the street, but have been using the older one a lot.

20-year-old Chevy Nova, 15-year-old Honda.
We were about to replace the Nova but.... not right now.
If we could find someone willing to fix a leaky seal on the transmission, I wouldn't even think about replacing it. But it's impossible to get parts for the Nova anymore. It's one of those Toyota Corollas made in the U.S. so some parts are metric, some U.S.
My mechanic claims that when he calls up Chevy they deny ever making the car.

1 Car - Lexus GX 470 SUV 2005 Model purchased "off the truck" in December 2004. Just the two of us - good to have a large vehicle when we travel. Will probably look at something to replace it with in 2010.
