How the Economy Works

How the Economic Machine Works [Animation] by Ray Dalio

Above is 30 minutes long. Maybe I liked it because I was an Econ major, but it's a very simple, straightforward way of thinking about the economy, and where we are now in the economic cycle.

From Ray Dalio at Bridgewater Assocs.

Not an Econ Major (or even a Minor... or related in any other way.) but this was 30 minutes well-spent.

The only nitpick I had was the statement that is a "70 year" cycle. That's all fine and dandy on the graph, but there really isn't enough economic history to say it's a 70 year repeating "cycle".
