How to Delete Folders in Hotmail

I tried to create a new folder today. Got an error message that I had maxed out the number of folders. How to delete folders to create new space?

When you go to the inbox and all your folders are listed under Folder (highlight the word folder)...off the right there is a circular element--click on that and it allows you to do things to folders. One of the options is to manage folders

Click this and then highlight the folder you want to delete--it functions the same way as when you want to delete a message.

hakuna.........thanks so much for your help. Worked like a champ. I used to always curse Hotmail because I had to go to the bottom of my innumerable folders to create a new one. Not any more....thanks for lighting the candle so I can stop cursing....

You are most welcome! Glad I was able to help. And you stopped cursing too? Well I sort of like cursing sometimes myself so don't stop!
