I just got a 19" LCD widescreen monitor for $139

And it's pretty nice! I was using a 14" crt that I got 13 years ago. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!!!


Best buy has these Acer monitors on sale if interested...

i cant seem to figure out how to get this annoying green glow to go away.....it appears behind the black in my text...

I think you should have gotten the $300 model, no glow. (heh)

lol yeah, no joke...


i ended up getting it 95% good by adjusting it to 'movie mode' or soemthign liek that....manually i couldnt even come close!

Love my new ($280) Samsung BW 226BW (22" wide screen with contrast of 3000:1 and 2 ms speed and although I do not use Vista it is 100% VISTA compatible). Virtually free after getting the Best Buy Visa Card to buy the thing with, but that is another whole story. Oh yes it has a 3 year warranty -- most I have seen have only a 12 month one.

My acer AL1916W works perfectly, with no green glow.
