I screwed up my taxes!

Boy did I screw up; we're getting almost $2,000 back from federal.

And, we kept our LLC as a partnership rather than switching it to a sole... so I need to do two SEPs for less than $3k each (hello STAR fund I guess)

I'm going to take me out back and me up a bit.

Hey, I could make me buy a VA. That'd show me.

Nah, you're either not smart enough or too well educated to do that. I forget which.

Get yerself a financial planner who'd sell you some annuities. That'd do ya.

We have a lot in common! I am also getting a good-sized refund and opening (just one) a SEP that is too small to have any fund but Star.

Just look on the positive side: The stock market has dropped so much lately that it was probably better for the IRS to keep the money than Vanguard.

I don't know how big my refund will be because Ameriprise has just sent me a third version of my 1099-DIV. They keep messing things up.

I would be getting a smaller refund but I took advantage of the down market to sell some things at a loss.
