From time to time the store with have "half racks", 4 ribs which is perfect for me. The next time I have to get a full rack I will cut it in half and do 2 meals as lamb does not re-heat well.
I found this out the last time I was lusting and the store only had full racks.

True, there's no law saying you have to roast an entire rack. In my case, I was salivating and thought the rack was small enough that I could eat it all by myself. Will not make the same mistake again.
PS. One time, I ate an entire pound of calf liver in a Venetian style dish. That was also a BIG mistake.
PPS. For a guy with a BMI never exceeding 25 (23 right now), I can eat and drink many bigger guys under the table.

Just saw this story today on TV. Apparently they are going to buy a new "car port" - not a usual indicator of wealth.
£61m EuroMillions win: Mum said 'buy ticket' after cancer op - BBC News
Quote:
A mother whose family won the EuroMillions £61m jackpot rang her daughter from the US and asked her to buy a ticket as she felt lucky after having life-saving cancer surgery.
The group, from Monmouth, matched all seven numbers to scoop £61,102,443 in Friday's draw.

Just over 60, so maybe that's the reason it doesn't appeal to me that much. But I think the transition from driving unreliable old beaters to reliable daily drivers was the extent of my vehicular aspirations. Just never paid attention to the high-end vehicles.
OK, I might trade my Tacoma in for a less practical soft-top Jeep if money was no object. Replace the Jeep when it starts to get unreliable.

DW & I Just purchased $106.45 worth of Top shelf Filet Mignion for supper today. Does that make us Wealthy, or just plain stupid?
I sure do not feel any wealthier...

You will when you eat it - Or you should anyway.
I just love the way tenderloin melts in your mouth. When you get old you'll still be able to enjoy as teeth should not be needed, just gum it into submission.
Imma gonna order up some Waygu tenderloin soon!

Being able to fire up the outboard at 5AM or 9PM and go fishing without worrying about getting up for work. Priceless

LOL. Not having to get up and leave the house at 5am or 7am, and staying in bed till you feel like getting up. Priceless.

Sure, that makes you Wealthy as long as you didn't have to get a payday loan to buy it.
I had a peanut butter sandwich and a glass of water for dinner tonight, but I ate it in my fully paid off new dream home. Does that count?

Absolutely! The creamy peanut butter is my favorite.

Sounds like another poll. Put me down for the smooth peanut butter too! But not just regular peanut butter... that fancy Dijon kind.

According to the Huffington Post, "The National Peanut Board states that a full 60 percent of Americans prefer smooth to chunky. The National Peanut Board also claims that women opt for smooth, while men lean toward chunky."
That should help "smooth over" this debate.

Just ate two PBJ's and two bananas for breakfast. Nourishing, tastes good, and costs very little.
I prefer chunky. Yet another indication (as Khan would say) that I am not really a woman?
Am thinking of going big-time and switching to organic PB, as I've heard it tastes better than commercial.
