Give us your best.:D

I drink to your health when I'm with you,
I drink to your health when I'm alone,
I drink to your health so often,
I'm starting to worry about my own!

May those who love us love us.
And those that don't love us,
May God turn their hearts.
And if He doesn't turn their hearts,
May he turn their ankles,
So we'll know them by their limping.

May the roof above us never fall in, and may we friends gathered below never fall out.

I bought my (travel size) Bushmills yesterday.

Here’s to a sweetheart, a bottle, and a friend. The first beautiful, the second full, the last ever faithful.

May you be in heaven a full half hour before the devil knows you’re dead.

May the good Lord take a liking to you… But not too soon!

May misfortune follow you the rest of your life, and never catch up.

May those that love us, love us.
And those that don’t love us,

May God turn their hearts.

And if he doesn’t turn their hearts,

May he turn their ankles,

So we’ll know them by their limping.

My dear depareted Daddy always told me that Jamison's was the only kind. Said Bushmills was from "the north." So I'm stayin' with the J.
I've had and enjoyed both. But what do I know, I'm Norwegian-American the other 364 days of the year. :D

Irish Blessing

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Growing up in a neighborhood with a lot of Irish, sláinte and póg mo thóin were the only Gaelic words I ever learned. Together, they cover the thread title rather nicely.

May you live as long as you want to, and want to as long as you live.
