Please do not post naked links. This is a story about a company that changed it's name to include the word blockchain, even though the company has nothing to do with cryptocurrency and saw a huge one day jump in it's stock price.

Probably not... numerous news reports on it .... we're definitely in a greed phase it seems.

No joke.

This happened before in 1999 when companies renamed themselves to have ".com" in the name or logo, and saw a big jump in share prices.

A company called BiOptix changed its name to Riot Blockchain, and also dropped its biotech business, whatever it was doing, to do blockchain. Share price jumped.

Here's another beverage company that's getting into crypto stuff.

What used to be Skypeople Fruit Juice decided that there's more juice in blockchains. It now calls itself Future Fintech Group.
