I use IE and have Popups blocked as my default. Once in a while I have to do the Temporarily Allow Popups, but only when I'm on a trusted site.

It's not really a pop up. Well I guess it is a pop-up ~ Only an audio shout out (pop up?). I later on ran a scan for virus and it coughed up two infections (Trojan horse?) perhaps that thing dragged it in.
