For the year over Texas added 407000, new jobs Florida added 408000.

Ohio has added more jobs then in their history .

We better watch out someone is going to put us retirees to work !

If Tejas & Florida added 800k jobs then there is a depression somewhere in the US. BLS says total jobs added in Sept was 134k.

Can you imagine 400k people moving to Florida in a month? Ok...snowbirds....

They don't want the "seniors" e.g. anyone 50+.

My sister is 2+ years unemployed and counting looking for a job.
She is is choosy and does not want to be a temp.

not ready for full retirement
A job that I applied for 6 months ago is now open again except they want an Intern. Yes, that is part of the job title. Last time that word was not in the job title. The intern positions are 6-months in duration. When I was rejected, I thought it was something I did but now I see it was something I can't change.

New jobs in FLA are probably mainly doctors and minimum wage jobs.

Five years ago, before I was married, I used to worry that with all the Boomers retiring, there wouldn't be enough folks in the labor pool to staff Taco Bell. Since then, we make our own guacamole, salsa, and sometimes tortillas. Problem solved!
