I don't think we should be comparing any newcomer to Jon Stewart. He made that show completely his own, so we should judge the new guy solely on his own merits without comparing him to his predecessor.

+1. He'll fail if he tries to follow Jon Stewart, he needs to blaze his own trail. Leno was very successful, so is Fallon though very different.

I agree - always enjoyed Wilmore on the Daily Show, and I had high hopes for his new show. Stopped watching after a week and a half. The "panel" part of the show seemed very forced to me.

The Trevor Noah clip you posted is funny. I will definitely watch him and we'll see how it goes.

Well, I've seen his tweets today, and they are not funny in any sense of the word; they are very offensive. I will definitely not be watching his show. Maybe I can find clips or episodes of John Oliver's show on YouTube.
