Just because I live within biking distance of Alferd Packer's last resting place does not mean I wish to emulate him.

In any case, I will play: bourbon-marinated squirrel.

No doubt we would all taste a bit like pork. Wasn't "long pig" what the South Seas cannibals called their favorite feast item?

No wonder I don't care for pork!

Not sure what I would taste like but thanks to second and third degree burns I know what I smell like while cooking...

Durian...soft, stringy, smelly, and a little prickly on the outside.

We are still in a market bull run, and people already have thoughts of cannibalism. I hate to think what retirees will do in the next market crash. It's not zombies that I fear, but fellow retirees!

Good thing I have my RV to escape to the woods when SHTF. And I have several firearms, and shoot them regularly for practice.

This thread is long on descriptions but short on recipes.

Not a bad plan. Should give you an edge until the fuel runs dry.

Darn! I need to spend time to chop wood like T-Al to beef up in preparation for hand combat.

Sauteed with butter and a bit of garlic?

Or stewed with tomato and wine to tenderize and to reduce gaminess?
