Sounds like a great move for Amazon. I'd like to hear from Kindle owners how well this works when it becomes available. May have to consider one of these sometime.

Thanks for posting this! I will now lobby urgently for a Mother's Day Kindle--not being able to download library e-books was the only issue that kept me from wanting one.

Is there a good 'National' e-library? We live in a county that does not have an e-library. I have searched the web, but have not come up with a national or for us a Texas e-library.
