Do you know of any good novels that include early retirement as a component?
I can think of one--- So Much For That is about a man who plans to retire early to an island, but then runs into issues. Each chapter starts with the current value of the funds he has for retirement. I can relate to his constant tracking of his net worth. I enjoyed the book even though it probably made me worry even more about health care costs.
