Lord of the Rings

This was the headline for todays Pittsburgh paper.
This of course is only of interest to Steeler fans and Cowboy fans.
They are now officially second fiddle to the Steelers.

Darn proud of those Steelers.

I am very proud of them also. I did not want the game to be boring, but it got way too close for comfort for me! I am afraid that I am going to have a heart attack or something else equally bad from watching close games!

Roethlisberger is today's Joe Montana

He rarely fails to do what he needs to do. He owns the 4th quarter.

Roethlisberger = Montana?

I can think of no higher compliment for him.
Interesting to hear the other views. Many fans complained about Ben's lack of interest in game management. It seems like he has been practicing his 4th quarter drill all season. This usually seems out of place for a run oriented, defense focused team. There was concern that the offensive line did not like him. This is death in a team sport like football.

Montana-like is my highest aspiration for our team leader. In the end, he was able to step into the leadership role. He managed the playoffs well and had a flawlessly managed superbowl. And, he did indeed own the 4th quarter.
