love test: chemicals determining your chemistry?
ok ok ok i admit it. since retirement i've seen oprah a few times. an indication i should go back to work? well, that's not where i got the quiz. it was on our local news channel tonight (& i know how you all love quizes)...
Love Quiz
my results...
Explorer (dopamine): 20
Builder (serotonin): 16
Negotiator (estrogen): 23
Director (testosterone): 22
coincidence that the estrogen & testosterone numbers are both so close & so high or was my shrink correct when he said i was probably bisexual? also intersting that the serotonin is so low as i can be prone to manic-depression (which i successfully battle without drugs) and have always suffered extreme owlism (melatonin helps).
though i'd put about as much stock in this as i did in those handwriting analysis machines they used to have around, it's still fun to put a quarter in the slot and see what the machine says.

I gave up early on because the questions had no relevance to my existence.

Nothing really dominant for me. Does that mean I'm well balanced , or wishy-washy ?

I thought it was pretty accurate... even the less flattering parts... I am definitely not an explorer and I thought that the director's and builder's characteristics were right on the money for me.

This means what? Reminds me of the Meyers-Briggs quiz and such.

OOps, I deleted the test before I got the actual scores, but one was 18 and 2 were 19, but the dominant one was that of Director. Interesting that there are so many of us that took the test and ended up with being a Director. Says something about the mentality of those on this board? Or not?

Looks like I am an Explorer/Director type... guess that should help me career-wise, as a senior scientist?
