Lucky the Dog

Hi All,

I thought you might enjoy a heart warming story. As you may know, I volunteer with our local animal shelter. A little Shih Tsu came in recently who was paralyzed from the waist down. Because the shelter deals with so many homeless pets, it was difficult to know what to do. One look in her eyes, however, told us we had to help her. We used funds raised by the shelter support group to have her treated by our vet. The vet's husband even custom made a wheelchair for her! We named her Lucky and she in now in a great foster home. She will need to be adopted to a family in Fairfax County, Virginia or one of the surrounding jurisdictions. Because of her disabilities, she really needs a special kind of home. If you know anyone who may be interested, please feel free to share this link to her Petfinder website.
