Maybe it was a million rupee mansion. Or about $273 US dollars.

When I compare what Pak says they found at the compound and US reports I am wondering about a female we say we killed (presumptively the wife of the courier). Pak reports they found three men killed, no woman. Both agree that a woman, a wife of Osama, was injured. Odd.

Check out the nice trailer houses and travel trailers overlooking Osama's compound.

Well, compared to his summer cave in Tora Bora, UBL was living in a mansion as I view it. All is relative.

Seeing Bin Laden watching video on an ancient TV:

It just doesn't seem possible that he was the head of a worldwide organization and that he had millions of dollars. Was he part Amish?

Something is not right.

I think the marijuana crop must have boosted the value. I'm sure it was purely for medicinal purposes.

I have to wonder if you'd be comfortable making that same 'principled' statement in person to the family members of the 3,000 who died on 9/11.

Principled maybe but only in his delusion.

Does the fact that Americans have reason to hate Bin Laden mean that he was unprincipled? Does this really make sense to you?

My post said nothing as to his principles, it merely asked a question about yours.

I don't see how a person who murders innocent people, especially innocent women and children, can be described as principled.

With all respect to the posters, I would be happy to see this thread closed. I don't know what it good it does to keep that man's name alive, even if only on an Internet message board.

Click on the little triangular button to the left and ask the mods to close it - as I have already done.

OK, I think the "luxurious mansion" is old news by now anyway so following several requests I am closing the thread.
