Major Windows 10 update roll-out today

My desktop disk drive has been doing the Hula for several days whenever online. The computer finally asked to restart. All is quiet now. Anyone else ? , or am I special to Microsoft or hopefully not a Hacker.

No further updates for me for a week, since last Tuesday. Maybe I'll get one in a few hours.

The big 1809 "October" update was delayed for months for many computers, due to problems when it was first offered that they have been working on fixing. Lately they have been rolling it out to many more computers, so maybe that is what you got. I have it and so far, so good.

Not noticing anything unusual. Maybe I'll check the other computer.

I noticed an article about reserved storage. Maybe that slows down an older system?

Mine was a week or so ago also. Didn’t seem to be much of a problem. Unfortunately, for me, I have my computer passworded so every time it restarts, I have to put in the password. Since this update rebooted a few times and took a long time to do its thing, I had to sit and watch the process for awhile.

I just checked my version of Windows 10 and, although I got a relatively major set of updates recently, it still appears to be at version 1809. A Google search turned up this article that indicates the upcoming 1903 release is to happen in spring:

https://pureinfotech.com/windows-10-...date-features/

Reserved Storage is mentioned, but way down in the article.
