MASH's Father Mulcahy actor dies

William Christopher, the actor best known for his role as Father John Mulcahy on the hit TV show "M*A*S*H," died on Saturday, his family confirmed to Eyewitness News.

I always loved the Father Mulcahy character. A sea of calm in the midst of chaos.

His portrayal of Father Mulcahy was very believable and kind of sweet, and added a lot to that show. At 84 I suppose it's to be expected that he might leave this earth. Still, he will be missed by those who remember his acting, and of course even moreso by his friends and relatives..
