As opposed to hijacking Devo's post about other forums...

I can find good information about retirement and financial planning but Im having a heck of a time finding anything about buying and running a small business. I have searched google and come up with lots of not so helpful information and even my searches here dont seem to work.

Id really like a good forum similiar to this or if you can point me to some helpful books.

Im looking for information about how to go about buying a small business (how much its worth, what sorts of things I need to look into, etc) and then running it.

I have general ideas on how to go about all this but I think I need to start looking more specifically... seems my gobs of edu-ma-cation arent all that helpful (biterness oozing from pores)

I'd recommend the Rich Dad Forums as a good starting place. I know a lot of people here have an aversion to Robert Kiyosaki, but I have found wonderful help in the forums with my own site/business.

I also visit the forums about once a week to see what business topics come up and assimilate some of the info so that when I'm ready to really dig into another business, I'll have some background information as well as a resource/sounding board for my ideas.

Search the forum. Dory used to be a business broker and has contributed words of wisdon in the past. I bet he would answer specific questions if you PM him.
