A spring 2007 newsletter from the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) named Meeks one of the "10 leading black religious voices in the anti-gay movement"
+++++++++++++
Meeks has reportedly blamed "Hollywood Jews for bringing us Brokeback Mountain" and actively campaigned to defeat SB3186, an Illinois LGBT non-discrimination bill, while serving in the Illinois state legislature
+++++++++++

Music added here.

Contrast the love and unity of the YouTube with the division and vitriol of Rev Meeks

If the Southern Poverty Center named Meeks as one of the "10 leading black religious voices in the anti-gay movement" then why has McCain not been called on it?

How about Rev John Hagee does he support McCain?

GOD BLESS US ALL

NO

The title of the thread is McCain has a Homophobic spiritual advisior so I asked why he had not received criticism by the media and others.

Candidates can not control what the people that endorse them say or do. The thing that they can do is condemn the inappropriate comments or behavior of those who endorse them.

However if the candidate makes inappropriate comments or they embellish the facts then I do believe that they open themselves to criticism.

GOD BLESS US ALL
