medicare billing codes

Anyone know of an online listing of medicare billing codes? For example, 99283 is for an "ER Visit Level 3."

Ok, I guess I'm looking for the CPT/HCPCS codes.

Re: medicare billing codes

I haven't found a list of codes, but here is a place to search if you already have the code and just want to see what it means. If I can find a list, I'll post again.

Re: medicare billing codes

Hmm, I'm paying 10x the Medicare price. I realize that Medicare is cheap but is this standard?

Is it also standard to be billed by the hospital and the physician for the same billing code?
